Dear Parents,
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy and Peaceful Christmas and all God’s Blessings for the New Year.
The Christmas holidays will begin on Friday 20th December at 12.30pm.  School re-opens on Monday, January 6th at 9.20am.

Confessions:  Thursday 12th December – 11.30am in the School.
Trip to Cinema: 1st to 6th classes are going to the cinema on Monday 16th December at 10am to see “Frozen”.  Cost per pupil is €4.00.
Christmas Concert: Wednesday 18th December at 11.40am in School Hall.  All are welcome.
Christmas Raffle: Thursday 19th December in Mr Mulhern’s office. Tickets are still on sale – only €2 each for 25 fabulous prizes. Please support!
Christmas Holidays:  School Closes Friday 20th December at 12.30 pm and reopens on January 6th.

Santa is very busy at this time of year but if we are very lucky he may have a little time to visit our school before Christmas.  Here’s hoping!

Carol Singing:  Our School Choir will visit St. John’s Hospital on the 12th of December and will be Carol Singing in Johnstons Court Shopping Centre on Friday 13th of December.  The Parents Association will also be selling raffle tickets in Johnstons Court on this date.


Please notify the school office if you have changed address or telephone numbers recently.

A sincere thank you to all those who have paid the Heating Contribution of €40 (€70 for 2 or more) and also the payment for Arts/Crafts/Tests of €25.00.
A reminder to those who have not yet paid.

Copper Mile Collection: Copper Mile collection is continuing in each class.  If you have any spare copper coins please bring them in.

Parent/Teacher Meetings – Thank you for attending the parent teacher meetings recently where an excellent turnout was reported.  If you were unable to attend please contact the school to arrange another appointment.

A special thank you to all the parents, teachers and pupils who took part in the “Team Hope” Shoebox Appeal 2013.  We contributed 130 shoeboxes to this worthy cause.

We wish Ms McCafferty the best of luck as she awaits the arrival of her new baby in the New Year!

Congratulations to Ms Devenney on her recent engagement!
