Best of luck to Jack Teape, Daniel Gray Harrigan & Tyler Stallard who are competing in the GAA 3 Amigos Skills Final this Thursday in the Mercy College at 5pm.
GAA Training for Boys takes place on Thursdays from 3 to 4.15pm with Mr Mulhern. GAA training for Girls takes place on Tuesdays from 3 to 4.15pm with Ms McGowan & Ms Keaney.
PUNCTUALITY – A reminder that school starts at 9.20am and that all pupils should line up when the bell rings. Arriving late on a regular basis is an extremely bad habit for any pupil. They are also losing out on valuable teaching time.
COW– Cycle on Wednesday commences this Wednesday 20th of March and WOW (Walk on Wednesday) is ongoing. Well done to all those who are participating. Please ensure that your child always wears a helmet when cycling.
The Photographer will be in the school on Thursday 18th of April. Please ensure all pupils wear full uniform on the day.
Our Book Fair was a huge success and this will now enable us to purchase new books for the school. A big thank you to all those who purchased items at the fair. We thank Mrs Collery for organising the event.
Please note that parking is prohibited on the school grounds outside of drop off and collection times. Please also respect other drivers, do not cause an obstruction by parking without due care and consideration.

Please be vigilant when using the pedestrian crossing outside the school as some motorists do not always obey the lights. This was brought to the attention of both the Gardai and Sligo Borough Council.
Both our Green Schools/Active Flag Committees are busy organising activities i.e. COW/WOW days, bike maintenance workshop, céilí, road safety with traffic corp etc. We hope to obtain both flags before the end of this school year which would be an amazing achievement.
