Congratulations to Saoirse Doyle whose poem was the winning entry from St. John’s N.S. in The Hawks Well White Birds Poetry Competition.
Congratulations to Ronan Culkin who came third in the Hospital’s Smoke Free Hospital Slogan competition.
Football: Congratulations to-
Our senior footballers who became county champions in the Cumann naBunscol 8 Teacher plus competition after two magnificent performances vs Grange.
Our boys/girls soccer teams who won the FAI Schools County Championships under coach Michael Bree, at the Showgrounds.
Makayla McLoughlin who won 3rd place in the GAA Kicking competition at Markievicz Park.
GREEN FLAG – We received our 4th Green Flag in May for the theme of Travel. Well done to the Co-
ACTIVE FLAG -
Booklists and School Calendar for 2013/2014 will be available next week.
We have also made application to the Discovery and Performing Music Programme which will commence in September for some classes between 2nd – 6th.
